Winning custom dashboards

Get some inspiration for your own dashboards from the Analytics Competition winners. Last year we announced our first Analytics Competition and challenged people to create a winning Google Analytics Custom Dashboard. We enlisted the help of some awesome Googlers to judge the top entries, with Justin Cutroni, Adam Singer and Daniel Waisberg joining Loves Data’s own Benjamin Mangold to determine the Analytics Champion!

We received a great range of entries and want to thank everybody who took the time to submit their dashboards. The judges unanimously agreed on the winning entry which uses some of the freshest data available inside Google Analytics - demographics. Second and third place both cover aspects of ecommerce reporting.

Combine revenue and order quantity to see product category performance.

Add this ecommerce dashboard to your own Google Analytics account.

Take a moment and check out the winning dashboards, add them to your account and let us know what you think in the comments! Not looking after an ecommerce site? You can always edit the ecommerce widgets to use ‘goal completions’ or ‘goal value’. Add a goal conversion dashboard that is a modified version of Petr’s entry based on goals instead of ecommerce.

Want your chance to win? The next Analytics Competition is all about Custom Reports, so get creative and submit your entry for your chance to win some great prizes and digital analytics glory.
