Checklist for Migrating Email Platforms

We recently migrated our email marketing platform to MailerLite. Here’s the exact checklist we created (and used) to complete the migration.

Here’s the overall process we followed:

1. We started by reviewing the way we were currently using our existing platform.
2. Then we cleaned up and consolidated the tags and segments.
3. We made backups of important items. This included copies of automations and email sequences.
4. We recreated forms in our new platform.
5. Exported out existing subscribers.
6. Cleaned our subscriber list.
7. Imported the list into MailerLite.
